Should I log flight time in tenths of an hour or HH:MM?

All three regulators accept either decimal hours (e.g. 1.6) or hours and minutes (e.g. 1:36). Pick one convention and stay consistent; most digital logbooks default to decimal hours. The FAA Pilot's Operating Handbook and EASA AMC examples both show decimal hours.
