What FAA medical certificate do I need?

FAR 61.23: Class 1 is required for ATP privileges, Class 2 for commercial privileges, Class 3 for private/recreational/sport (or PPL with BasicMed under 14 CFR 68). Validity depends on age and class. BasicMed (Part 68) allows certain private operations without a current FAA medical if requirements are met.
